Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded Magomed Daudov, Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic, the rank of Major General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was announced by the head of the republic Ramzan Kadyrov.
According to Kadyrov, Magomed Daudov made a significant contribution to the development of the region. He actively participated in the “fruitful activities” of the Chechen parliament, and also successfully led the regional operational headquarters responsible for conducting special military operations.
Previously, he held various positions in the civil service. Daudov was the head of the police department in the Shali district of Chechnya, as well as the head of the administration of the head and government of the republic. Since 2015, he has been the head of the regional parliament.
In 2007, Magomed Daudov was awarded the title of Hero of Russia for his courage and heroism in the line of duty.
