On November 14, it was reported that in the Kherson region, the sailors completed the last export voyage for civilians. Initially, it was planned to make only one crossing, but it soon became clear that it was impossible to take out everyone at once. Then the Ararat crew, on their own initiative, decided to return for people, reports “Kherson-News”.
October 18 authorities of the Kherson region announced about the beginning of the evacuation of the inhabitants of Kherson. Later, the evacuation zone was expanded by 15 km deep into the left bank. November 14, head of the Russian administration of Kherson Alexander Kobets informedthat about 40-50 thousand inhabitants of the city remained on the right bank of the Dnieper. On November 9, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation decided to withdraw troops from Kherson to the left bank.
