Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded three employees of kindergarten No. 31 in Krasnoyarsk – Natalya Stus, Evgenia Tolstaya and Irina Shabanova – with the medal “For Courage”. Decree about it published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
On March 28, 2022, a 19-year-old girl with a gun came to the Krasnoyarsk kindergarten No. 31. She infiltrated the group, saying that she had come to pick up the child. The teachers noticed her gun, asked her to go to the locker room and seized the gun. Physical education instructor Natalya Stus knocked the girl to the floor and held her until the police arrived. According to investigators, before coming to kindergarten, the girl quarreled with her father and shot him.
From March 30 girl located in jail. Criminal cases were initiated against her on suspicion of murder (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and of attempted murder of a minor (part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
