Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a program for the development of the Zaporozhye region for 10 years. This was announced by the Acting head of the Zaporozhye region Yevhen Balitsky after meetings with the President on the night of August 23 in the Kremlin, where some points of the program were presented.
“I signed a document for the Cabinet of Ministers – to work it out. Accordingly, now we will verify all the details that we discussed, which fit into the structure of Russian legislation. We understand that it is necessary to comply with Russian legislation,” Mr. Balitsky said in an interview. “RIA News”.
At a meeting with the president, Evgeniy Balitsky said that the program for the development of the Zaporizhzhia region includes, among other things, the “denationalization” of the economy after the completion of a special military operation. Today, about 20 state-owned companies operate in the region. The program also includes a strategy for gasification of 9 more districts. He did not provide other details.
Mr. Balitsky noted that the development strategy of the Zaporozhye region is the basis of the election program. On September 10, on a single voting day, elections to local legislative assemblies will be held in the Russian-controlled part of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as in the DPR and LPR.
