President Vladimir Putin signed law, allowing the mobilized to return to their position if the employment contract expires during military service. A corresponding amendment is being made to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
The law also guarantees the mobilized person another vacant position or work in the absence of a vacancy for the position previously occupied by him. The amendment concerns legal relations that have arisen since September 21, when the president announced partial mobilization in Russia.
In October, President Vladimir Putin signed a few more laws on the rights of the mobilized. In particular, for the period of military service, their employment contracts will be suspended, and jobs must be preserved. Last week, a bill was also submitted to the State Duma, providing a respite from partial mobilization of Russian scientists.
