Putin appointed Bulyga as the new Deputy Minister of Defense for Army Support

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing Lieutenant General Andrei Bulyga as Deputy Minister of Defense for logistics of the Russian armed forces. About it reported press service of the defense department.
According to information on website Ministry of Defense, Andrey Bulyga is 55 years old. He served in the Western Group of Forces, Moscow, Far Eastern and Central Military Districts, in the department of planning and coordination of logistics. Since March 2018, Mr. Bulyga served as deputy commander of the Western Military District for logistics.
Before Andrey Bulyga, the position of Deputy Minister of Defense for Army Support occupied Colonel General Alexey Kuzmenkov. In April 2023, Mr. Kuzmenkov replaced Colonel General Mikhail Mezintsev in this post, who had served in the position since September 24, 2022. Before Mr. Mezintsev, Army General Dmitry Bulgakov supervised support issues for 12 years.
