Cooperation between countries within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union is going well. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

“Cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union is indeed progressing very successfully,” said He.

Today, May 25, a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is being held at the Grand Kremlin Palace, which, in addition to the Russian president, is attended by Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich .

Earlier today, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov informedthat the meeting of the leaders of the countries will be held first in a narrow format, then the meeting will continue in an expanded format. As a result of the meeting, a number of working documents will be signed, the Kremlin spokesman specified.

At the beginning of the meeting, Putin said that the leaders of the countries would exchange views on the main directions of the association’s development. In addition, the meeting will raise issues of integration cooperation in the areas of energy and food security, technological and financial independence, as well as in the field of trade, transport and digital transformation.
