Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting via video link with the heads of the intelligence services of the CIS countries, warned that scenarios are being worked out in the West to incite new conflicts in the Commonwealth space.
The head of the Russian state added that there are enough conflicts without it, one has only to look at what is happening between Russia and Ukraine, as well as on the borders of some other CIS countries.
Putin stressed that, of course, all this is the result of the collapse of the Soviet Union, but the risks of destabilization are growing.
“Including the risks of destabilization of the entire Asia-Pacific region,” the Russian leader concluded.
