Russian President Vladimir Putin said that business should not be checked if it is not associated with risks of harm to humans and the environment. He stressed that in 2022 the number of business inspections has significantly decreased.

“If a business is not associated with high risks of harm to citizens or the environment, it should not be inspected at all, either routinely or unscheduled. Enough preventive measures,” the president said.

At the end of May, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin informedthat the number of business inspections in Russia in 2022 has dropped to a historic low. According to the prime minister, only 340,000 inspections were carried out in Russia, one third of which were in relation to small and medium-sized businesses.

At last year’s SPIEF, Vladimir Putin declaredthat “there are grounds to refuse on a permanent basis” from inspections of all Russian business, if its work is not associated with the risk of harm.

The news is being added.
