Pussy Riot co-founder Nadezhda Tolokonnikova again became a defendant in a criminal case

The head of the Agora international human rights group, Pavel Chikov, said on his Telegram channel that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation again opened a criminal case against one of the founders of the Pussy Riot punk group, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, under the article on insulting the feelings of believers.
Recall that Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Ekaterina Samutsevich were convicted of hooliganism in 2012 after an action in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. Samutsevich received a suspended sentence, while Tolokonnikova and Alyokhina received two years in a penal colony. They were released from detention in December 2013 as a result of an amnesty.
“The publications on social networks served as the basis for initiating a criminal case,” Chikov wrote, adding that a series of searches were carried out as part of the case.
At the same time, Tolokonnikova herself has been living in the United States for the past few years.
