Pushkov called the words of the Commander-in-Chief of the Netherlands Armed Forces Wijnen about the war with Russia a painful itch
Senator Alexei Pushkov said in his Telegram channel that the “painful itch” of military leaders of small European countries is currently becoming a “fad.” Thus, he commented on the words of the Commander-in-Chief of the Dutch Army, Martin Wijnen, about military operations with Russia.
Let us recall that earlier Wijnen noted that society “must prepare for hostilities with Russia,” and the Netherlands needs to recruit several thousand volunteers annually.
“The Commander-in-Chief of the Dutch Armed Forces calls on his not very large country to urgently prepare for military action with Russia. This painful itch of the military leaders of small European countries is already becoming a fad,” Pushkov emphasized.
He clarified that now “there is a feeling” that the smaller the country, the more and more “its leaders are eager to fight.”
