Pushilin urged not to put pressure on parents when choosing a form of education

Information reached the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, that in some schools in the region, parents are forced to transfer their children to full-time education without fail. “There are also reverse cases – the school administration insists on distance learning,” he said in his telegram channel.
Pushilin drew attention to the fact that pressure is unacceptable. Parents, choosing the format of teaching their children, should first of all be guided by an understanding of their safety, “how it will be better for their child,” he stressed.
According to him, before suggesting a transition to a face-to-face format, a lot of requests from parents who want their children to receive knowledge while sitting at their desks, that is, not remotely, were studied. “Obviously, this is impossible in the frontline areas,” Pushilin said. In the rest of the territory, “only parents decide in what format their child will study from September 1.”
