Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin signed decree on the dismissal from military service of graduate students called up as part of the mobilization.

“Dismiss from military service citizens called up for military service by mobilization, who at the time of their call-up received an education of the appropriate level for the first time, who studied full-time and part-time forms of education … in educational and scientific organizations under programs for training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in graduate school,” the document says.

The decree comes into force from the date of signing.

The special military operation began on 24 February. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
