The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, on the Rossiya-24 TV channel, said that the limits of the sanitary zone around the region will depend on the range of weapons that Western countries supply to Ukraine.
As Pushilin noted, according to the constitution, the territory of the DPR is located along the administrative borders of the former Donetsk region. Based on this, according to the head of the region, the sanitary zone should be located throughout the territory of at least the Dnepropetrovsk region.
At the same time, he indicated that when forming this zone, the range of weapons that would be at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at that time would be taken into account.
