Acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said that the settlement of Maryinka had been liberated by 80%. The release of this city from the Armed Forces of Ukraine will reduce the shelling of Donetsk, Pushilin is sure.
“After the complete liberation of Maryinka, Ukrainian shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk will decrease,” the politician said.
On December 13, Pushilin announced the imminent release of Marinka. According to him, transportation routes for Ukrainian militants were blocked under the city.
And today, on December 15, powerful artillery fire from Russian troops forced a Ukrainian detachment to flee, entrenched in a forest belt under the city. The enemy was spotted by the Viking group of the troops of the Western Military District of Russia.
