Pushilin announced the destruction of part of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation destroyed part of the positions of the Ukrainian military with missile strikes, from where attacks were carried out on Donetsk on December 18. About this Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin informed on the air of the TV channel “Russia-24”.

“Return fire is inflicted, counter-battery work is underway, and tonight the enemy’s firing points from which strikes were launched, some of them were definitely destroyed,” he said.

Pushilin clarified that the Russian military had hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) in Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, as well as the western part of Maryinka, which is under the control of the Ukrainian military.

The day before, on December 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted several blows on the center of Donetsk. In particular, the mayor of the city, Aleksey Kulemzin, reported that shells hit the Kalinin hospital. According to Pushilin, one patient who was injured during the shelling died.

In addition, on December 15, Kulemzin declared about the most massive shelling of Donetsk since 2014. DNR Territorial Defense Headquarters informed about nine victims. Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24.
