Units of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) are advancing along the entire front line, the enemy is trying to hold the settlements, Denis Pushilin, acting head of the DPR, said in a video message.
“Our units are advancing along the entire front line. Yes, these are not as we would like, rapid advances and daily liberation of settlements. Taking into account all the factors and circumstances that have developed, we see that every settlement, even a small one, is important both for us and for the enemy, and the enemy is doing everything he can to keep these settlements. But we have a task, and our guys are moving, ” said Pushilin.
Acting head of the DPR reminded of taking under the control of the villages of Opytnoye and Mayorsk, there are also positive changes in Ugledar and Pavlovsk, in Artemovsk the situation is difficult, but “house after house, street after street is freed”.
The special military operation began on 24 February. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
On November 9, Pushilin reported on the ongoing “heavy fighting” in the Pavlovka area. According to him, without the liberation of the village, it will be “extremely difficult” to advance in the direction of Ugledar. The next day, war correspondent Semyon Pegov informedthat the Russian Armed Forces took control of the village of Pavlovka in the DPR.
