Pupils of the Stavropol martial arts school won 25 medals

As the press service of the administration of Stavropol told, pupils of the Stavropol martial arts school prove their high level of training and skills at competitions of various levels. So, at two major events, our guys won 25 medals, 10 of which are of the highest standard.
All-Russian competitions and the ITF Taekwondo Cup of Russia took place in Yekaterinburg. More than 2,000 participants from 50 regions of the country fought for sets of medals. The national team of our region was represented by 8 taekwondo athletes from the city martial arts school and the Chonji sports club.
According to the results of the All-Russian competitions, Anna Solovieva won 3 medals: two gold medals in “sparring” and “special equipment” and one bronze medal in “strike force”. In the discipline “staging sparring” Rodion Tomilov and Artem Khachaturyan rose to third place.
At the Russian Cup in “special equipment” and “sparring” Alexander Vinniko became the winner. Ilya Tokarev took 2nd place in special equipment and 3rd place in sparring. Nikolay Serdyukov also won a bronze medal in sparring. Our men’s team, consisting of Alexander Vinnikov, Ilya Tokarev, Nikolai Serdyukov, Viktor Ilyashchenko, Armen Zakharyan, performed successfully. Taekwondo athletes took 1st place in “sparring”, 1st place in “special equipment” and 2nd place in “tul”.
And in Volgograd, the All-Russian hand-to-hand combat competitions among boys and girls, men and women, dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, were held. The hall of the Olimp sports complex gathered several hundred athletes from different regions of Russia.
Athletes from the Stavropol martial arts school took 13 awards. Konstantin Sosnovsky, Timur Degterev, Yulia Shkurinskaya and Veronika Eremenko climbed to the third step of the podium in their age and weight categories. The second place was won by Sofia Lutsenko, Zakhar Skornyakov, Anastasia Bugaevskaya, Ekaterina Lipovskaya and Alina Sargsyan. The winners were Kirill Kozin, Alina Smelovskaya, Nikita Komarov and Daniil Babenko.
