Pupils of school number 1368 created an audio guide

Tenth-graders of school No. 1368 Vyacheslav Khitrov and Sergey Petukhov became the winners of the competition to create an audio guide for the Victory Museum. The guys developed a guide for the exposition “Battle for Moscow. First victory!”, dedicated to the counter-offensive of the Soviet troops near Moscow.
The competition took place in several stages. At the first stage, schoolchildren studied the section devoted to the history of the creation of people’s militias in 1941 at the Victory Museum. After that, together with the supervisor – a history teacher, the students wrote the text of the excursion and submitted it to the jury of the competition. Based on the results of the analysis of the material, the audio guide created by the students of school No. 1368 received the highest score. Now it has already been recorded in a professional recording studio of the City Methodological Center and work is underway to translate and dub it in English.
As Olga Dankova, class teacher of the 10th grade of school No. 1368, said, such projects help children not only immerse themselves in the history of their country, but also, possibly, decide on the choice of their future profession.
“The guys came to the museum not as visitors, but as employees, and immersed themselves in the specifics of the museum’s work,” Olga Dankova specified. — For schoolchildren who love history and think about their future profession, such events open up new opportunities for applying their abilities.
