Three students of Lokomotiv were selected in the NHL Draft, which took place last night in the city of Nashville, Tennessee. The selection of beginners by the League clubs once again confirmed the high quality of the Yaroslavl hockey school.
Two graduates of the youth team of HC Lokomotiv were selected in the draft in the roar round – forward Daniil But and defender Dmitry Simashev. Teammates and friends again end up in the same club – Arizona chose Simashev as the 6th number. A12-m – Buta.
Both players have no special obligations to their home club. Perhaps they will leave for Arizona this year.
The seventh pick in the draft was Matvey Michkov, a graduate of Lokomotiv, who currently plays in the SKA system. Michkova wants to see the Philadelphia Flyers in her ranks. This is the same ulub in which, until recently, another Lokomotiv graduate, Ivan Provorov, played. Which, by the way, was also selected in the draft 7th number in 2015.
Matvey Michkov has a contract with SKA until April 2026. But he had already expressed a desire to move to Philadelphia as quickly as possible.
