At the end of the 80s of the 20th century, in the USSR championship, the Loyalty to the Club prize was awarded, which was awarded to the players who took part in all the matches of the season. In Russian football, such an award is not given at the end of the season, however, journalists still follow and mark the players who appeared on the field in all matches of the championship.
In the 2022-2023 season, a pupil of Ivanovo football marked such an achievement, he entered the field in all RPL matches. Sergei Pesyakov did not miss a single match, having played for Rostov in all 30 matches of the RPL. If the rest of the players, who played 30 matches each, came on as substitutions and played incomplete matches, then Sergey played absolutely all the matches without substitutions.
Recall that according to the results of the 2022-2023 season, Rostov took 4th place in the RPL, leaving Spartak and CSKA ahead. Valery Karpin’s team had the smallest budget compared to the rest of the participants in the race for medals.
