Telegram channel Lostarmour published statistics on the use of loitering ammunition “Lancet” during a special operation on the territory of Ukraine.
Reportedly, the Russian Ministry of Defense began to actively publish videos of strikes from October 13. Over the past month, 10 times more videos have been published than during the entire operation (65 vs. 6).
The report says that howitzers were the most frequently hit target: out of 17, only 5 survived, and some may have received serious damage. Of this number, 12 American M777 howitzers became the target of the Lancet.
It is also noted that the armor of the tanks withstands the impact of the Lancet, and not a single unit was clearly destroyed.
Thus, the effectiveness of the lancet is kept at 60% or even higher, given that in several videos one ammunition destroyed 2 vehicles.
The developer and manufacturer of kamikaze drones “Lancet” (new name “Product-51” and “Product-52”) is the Russian company ZALA Aero. Earlier, the company announced the creation of a digital map of Ukraine for training cadets.
