Extroverts are psychologically more prosperous than introverts, according to Stanford University
Psychologists at the University of New South Wales and Stanford University have concluded that extroverts are, on average, more psychologically well off than introverts.
The authors of a scientific paper in the journal Scientific Reports analyzed data on 1,017 volunteers. As it turned out, extroverts more often perceived the past year as favorable for them, which is called a sign of mental balance.
The researchers concluded that a person’s position on the extraversion-introversion scale is more strongly associated with their psychological well-being than other Big Five personality traits, such as agreeableness and conscientiousness.
