Pskovich Dmitry Yushchenko, who has a prosthetic instead of a leg, will take part in triathlon competitions as part of the St. Petersburg Governor’s Cup. The athlete reported this on his page on the social network VKontakte. The sporting event will take place on January 21.
Dmitry Yushchenko said that he will overcome the “super sprint” distance and will take part in the individual race.
Let us remind you that Pskov is a veteran Paralympian. He is one of the winners of the Cybathletics competition. Competitions among combat veterans took place from December 17 to 20 in Moscow. Dmitry Yushchenko is a member of the Paralympic team. He became the first person in Russia to run a marathon on a prosthesis.
