Four medals were won by Pskov veterans who participated in a special military operation at the interregional competition “Fatherland Defenders Cup”. The governor of the Pskov region, Mikhail Vedernikov, announced this in his Telegram channel.
The competition was held in Kaluga among teams from the Central Federal District and the Northwestern Federal District as part of the project “Sport is the norm of life” of the presidential national project “Demography”.
“Our athletes took 1st place in bullet shooting, 1st place in archery, 2nd place in table tennis and 3rd place in arm wrestling in the 70 kg right hand weight category. Our region took part in such competitions for the first time, and we seriously declared ourselves. Congratulations to our guys on their victories!” – added the governor.
