Pskov schoolchildren won the XI Summer Spartakiad of Russian Students. The governor of the Pskov region, Mikhail Vedernikov, announced this on his telegram channel.
Pskov athletes competed in a group among teams of subjects with a population of up to 1 million people. The Ministry of Sports summed up the results of the team standings in three groups, depending on the population of the regions.
The greatest number of points in the piggy bank of the Pskov region was brought by dance sports (breaking) and archery.
So, Vladimir Fazanov took 2nd place in compound bow. Maria Kostina showed the best result in breaking among girls, and Nikita Kostin won bronze in the same sport among boys.
