Pskov rowers won a gold medal at the All-Russian competitions

Pskov rowers won prizes at the All-Russian Rowing Competition XXII “Pskov Regatta”, which is held in memory of the Honored Coach of the USSR Valeria Prokopenko. This was reported to “MK in Pskov” in the press service of the administration of the city of Pskov.
220 rowers from 10 Russian regions took part in the competition. The Pskov region was represented by pupils of the Nika sports school.
Vladimir Raig and Kirill Mikhailov won the gold medal, becoming the best in the double oar without coxswain.
The second places were taken by Vladimir Raig, Kirill Mikhailov, Igor Shashin, Vladislav Zabrodin and Yegor Ivanov in the “four” with the coxswain. Also “silver” was won by Pavel Goncharov, Egor Ivanov and Artemy Usanov. They participated in the pair “four”.
Yegor Kolychev took the second place in the singles class among junior boys. The bronze medal among singles was taken by Pavel Goncharov.
Pskov rowers train under the guidance of Nina Ivanova and Sergey Nikolaev.
