Natalya Spiridonova also became the Russian Indoor High Jump Champion in 2023. The athlete took a height of 1.94. In second place is Daria Slepova from Moscow (her result is 1.91), and in third place is Polina Parfenenko from the Kemerovo region with the same result as the second jumper.

“After the Russian championship, I didn’t train technique, I just warmed up. Today I tried to take all the heights the first time. Initially, when I took 1.91, I ended up in 4 positions. It became unpleasant for me – then I got ready and jumped 1.94, ”said Natalya Spiridonova and added that the competition was quite strong.
In conclusion, the athlete shared the secret of good luck – it is important for her that during the competition she was accompanied by a talisman – a teddy bear. “And I try not to pay attention to other little things,” said Natalya Spiridonova.
