PSG in talks with Messi on contract extension

Football adviser to the French club Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Campos, said that the FC is in talks to extend the contract of the 35-year-old Argentine striker Lionel Messi.
“We are negotiating. I can’t hide it, I would like him to be involved in this project so that he can continue with us,” Mr. Campos told French broadcaster TF1 (quoted by AFP).
The Argentine joined PSG from Barcelona in 2021 on a two-year contract with an option to extend for another year. He is a seven-time winner of the Golden Ball, also won World Cup in Qatar in December.
