A group of residents of Odessa blocked the carriageway of one of the city streets, protesting against power outages. This is reported by the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian edition “Strana”.
Odessans are dissatisfied with the beginning power outages. Power outages arose after Russia launched massive strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure facilities.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that more than 50% of Ukraine’s energy system was hit as a result of the strikes. This has led to permanent power outages in many regions of the country. Also in Ukraine there are interruptions in mobile communications.
