In Yerevan, protesters blocked Myasnikyan Avenue, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by member of parliament from the opposition faction “Armenia” Aregnaz Manukyan.
According to him, a key transport hub connecting the center of Yerevan with the outskirts and the interstate road leading to Georgia has been blocked. Congestion has formed on Myasnikyan Avenue.
Protesters are demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan after the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Let us recall that on September 19, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced the start of “local anti-terrorist measures.” In Yerevan, the actions of the Azerbaijani military were called “large-scale aggression.” Later, through the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, an agreement on a ceasefire was reached.
