In the urban district of Chekhov, from February 22 to February 25, the championship of Russia in synchronized swimming among boys and girls was held. This was reported in the Synchronized Swimming Federation.
The competition was attended by 420 athletes in 41 teams from 21 regions of Russia. The opening ceremony, which took place on February 22, was attended by the deputy head of the administration of the Chekhov city district, the head of the department of physical culture, sports and tourism in Chekhov, the president of the Synchronized Swimming Federation and other figures.
Valeria Plekhanova became the winner in the solo nomination. Bronze medalists in the duet discipline were Anastasia Nikitenko and Valeria Plekhanova from the Moscow region.
