Private educational institutions rent premises from the Moscow authorities to conduct their teaching and educational activities. As Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, said today, non-state educational institutions have leased 98 different real estate objects from the capital at preferential rates.
As practice shows, a variety of educational institutions, kindergartens, schools, secondary vocational schools and universities use rental benefits. However, premises for private kindergartens and schools are more in demand. This year, 86 such organizations received benefits for renting premises. The amount of the benefit varies from one ruble to 3.5 thousand rubles per square meter per year.
By the way, the city program “1 ruble per 1 square meter” has been operating in Moscow since 2013. Investors first rent premises for educational facilities at a market rate, and then, after it is prepared for educational activities and receives an appropriate conclusion from the Department of Education and Science, it is transferred to a preferential rate of one ruble per square meter per year.
