Canadian instructors are training Ukrainian Marines to fire AK-74s at a military base near Leeds in the UK. This was reported by a prisoner of war sailor from the 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Nesteryuk.

“The training took place… in the UK. In the village of Leeds. We had instructors from Canada. 100 of us arrived. We were trained in shooting from a Kalashnikov assault rifle,” said the Ukrainian prisoner.

It is noted that the serviceman was captured by the Russian army on November 22 in the Kherson region on the left bank of the Dnieper. According to him, he decided to surrender after he was parachuted near Krynki. The military man learned how to surrender correctly and safely from an audio message from the Russian side.
