Sotheby’s auction in New York put up an evening dress that belonged to Princess Diana. The outfit was sewn by fashion designer Viktor Edelstein in 1989. Previously, the lot is estimated at 80-120 thousand dollars.
The seller is a private collector. He purchased the dress in 1997, a month before Diana’s death in a car accident. Then at the Christie’s auction, he had to pay 24 thousand dollars for the outfit.
