Prince Harry has spoken out about meeting his cancer-stricken father, King Charles III. According to him, he went to his father as soon as he could.
“I jumped on a plane and went to see him as soon as I could. Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go see him and spend some time with him, I’m grateful for that,” he said. Harry in an interview with ABC News.
He also noted that he again sees, day by day, how “his family unit is getting stronger.” Any illness unites a family, Harry is sure.
On February 5, the press service of Buckingham Palace announced that the king was diagnosed with cancer. He is undergoing treatment and will temporarily not perform his public duties. Harry visited him on February 6, the media wrote that their meeting lasted only 30 minutes.
