The annual All-Russian tournament named after St. Alexander Nevsky in mixed martial arts MMA ended in Novosibirsk. Primorsky athletes brought home awards for the first and second places. Azamat Nogaev, a soldier of the 5th Army and a participant in hostilities in the areas of special operation, and Alexander Chemaev, a master of sports, both students of the Muzhestvo club from Ussuriysk.
“In three fights, Azamat won ahead of schedule in the first round. In the final, he was opposed by Nikita Petrosevich from Usolye-Sibirsky. In a stubborn fight after three rounds, the judges gave the victory to our fighter by unanimous decision. Azamat was awarded a gold medal and a championship belt. He also fulfilled the standard of the master of sports, ”said the athlete’s coach, Sergey Sumarokov.
Now the athletes are preparing for a new competition, on February 11, Vladivostok will host the regional MMA championship.
