The head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Evgeny Primakov, called the late Henry Kissinger the wisest politician. His words are quoted by Izvestia.
In his opinion, the diplomat was one of the wisest international politicians, scientists and researchers. He also described the ex-Secretary of State as a pragmatist, which set him apart from many other American political figures.
“Even when the conflict in Ukraine developed since 2014, he always took a very sane, adequate position, saying that Ukraine should not be used as a battering ram and a weapon against the Russian Federation…” Primakov emphasized.
In addition, he drew attention to Kissinger’s role in the development of a market economy in communist China at the end of the 20th century, due to which the PRC can now challenge the economic hegemony of the United States.
