In Tchaikovsky, as part of the Russian Biathlon Championship in non-Olympic disciplines, a women’s big mass start took place. It was won by Tamara Derbusheva from the Sverdlovsk region, who made no mistakes at four shooting stages and completed the 12 km distance with a result of 39 minutes 45.5 seconds.
The silver medal went to Victoria Slivko from the Tyumen region – the athlete with two penalty laps was 1 minute 9.4 seconds behind the winner. Natalia Shevchenko from the Sverdlovsk region took third place.
Anastasia Zyryanova became the best among Prikamsk biathletes. She was three minutes behind the leader and took ninth place.
The winner of the final race of the Russian Championship among men was Alexander Kornev from Udmurtia. With two penalties at the finish of the 15 km distance, he showed a time of 40 minutes 57.2 seconds. “Silver” was won by Eduard Latypov from Bashkiria, who lost 15.4 seconds to the winner with three penalties. The third, 24.8 seconds behind and having made three mistakes, was Alexander Povarnitsyn (Tyumen region).
Prikamian Ivan Kolotov finished 22nd.
