Prigozhin spoke about Pugacheva: “Maxim can be proud of his wife”

The producer urged “not to insult, not to humiliate”

A post on Alla Pugacheva’s social network with a request to assign her the status of a foreign agent after her husband Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent) is already being discussed not only in show business, but, it seems, in the entire Russian world. Producer Iosif Prigozhin has known Primadonna for many years. He voiced his position to MK.

“She is the wife of her husband,” says Prigozhin about Pugacheva. – Any man should be proud of such a woman who does not turn away from him, but protects, even if her husband is wrong. Maxim can be proud of his wife.

In my opinion, Maxim is wrong, because he is still not with the country. Yes, we can be comedians, critics – yes, anyone, but in today’s difficult situation, in order to assert something, one must have information. And when we’re not sure, we can’t afford to make big statements.

Of course, Alla Borisovna is a big personality in this country. She has the right to her point of view, to her opinion. She expressed her position regarding what was happening, but no one took away this right from her. The President and the Constitution do not forbid her to say what she said, this is her personal opinion. But another question is whether we agree with it.

You see, to evaluate or criticize it is also wrong. We may not agree with her, but insulting, humiliating a person is simply unacceptable. And in general, it seems to me that the circumstances themselves are forced to put people on opposite sides. I believe that if there had been some kind of communication or contact with others, and there would not have been an emotional attack on her, the situation would have been different. You hit the face of a man before whom the evenings bowed down, whom they idolized …

She returned to Moscow, did not run away, did not make any statements before, did not protest and did not speak out. We do not even know about her agreement with her husband or disagreement. Alla Borisovna returned, took the children to school. I just feel sorry for the children in this situation, they have nothing to do with it.

– How do you see the way out of the situation?

– If someone from those involved in domestic politics invited me and heard my opinion, we would live today without aggression inside the country. We are not in a position where we need to look for enemies. We don’t need to turn everyone against us, we need to look for supporters – that’s my position.

And inside the country, you need to talk and negotiate with each other, without humiliating, without getting personal. Americans live by this principle: neutrals are made friends. And with regard to those who are not with them, they do everything to drag them to their side. On the contrary, we hit backhand. This is what I don’t agree with.

– After the publication of Pugacheva, many colleagues left their comments under this post. Ksenia Sobchak put hearts and likes, but Timati, on the contrary, went to the address of Maxim and the Primadonna herself. Why such a different reaction in show business, in your opinion?

– The reaction is different not only in show business. We are all human and everyone has their own opinion.

– Now I’ll ask a question directly: if a similar situation happened in your family, would you and Valeria take such a step relative to each other?

– I am regularly emotional and sometimes even wrong. My wife is forced to patiently and reverently support me, because she is a smart and wise woman.

But in general, in our shop every man for himself. I still believe that some people stupidly betrayed us at a certain period of our lives, when it was very difficult for us. I don’t remember that Alla Borisovna stood up for us when we were “cancelled” in Ukraine and Latvia, or during the pandemic, when the Internet hooted happily, pouring mud at us for standing up for our colleagues.
