Prigozhin about Israel: Mom is in a bomb shelter, I couldn’t reach my brother and sister

“Took out of the country, taken hostage”
Producer Joseph Prigozhin is acutely aware of the situation that is currently happening in Israel. The fact is that most of his relatives have been living in this country for many years. He told Moskovsky Komsomolets about what was happening there.
— I have a mother, nephews, sisters, brothers there. Moreover, some of the relatives are on the border. In general, my relatives live in different parts of Israel; they have been there since the 70s. And now some are in bomb shelters, some are spending the night in the basement. “I called on the phone – my mother, thank God, is alive and well, now at home,” says the producer. — Almost all houses and apartments there are equipped with bomb shelters. When the siren sounds, they head there. I receive information about what is happening from relatives if I call them. True, I did not reach one brother and sister. My mother lives in the north of the country, my sisters and brothers live in another place. I myself was planning to fly there for 2-3 days on Monday to visit her, but it is already clear that the sky is closed and I will not fly.
– How do you look at all this?
— The situation is critical, very difficult. This is a treacherous attack.
It still happened during the holiday of Sukkot. People were relaxed, no one was going to do anything. It’s just a sudden attack, it’s a shock. A huge number of civilians who were walking that day were kidnapped, taken hostage and taken outside Israel towards Gaza. Apparently, there will be some kind of exchange.
I watch, of course, telegram channels, what they say, what they discuss. Although I don’t quite understand the situation yet. Israel has been in a state of war for thousands of years, many of us have gone there in the last period. In hopes of what?
At such moments you remember Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky, who said, “Someone needs to light this match so that people simply don’t live normally.” It would seem that the 21st century is a time of new technologies. Why is it necessary for a huge number of people to die on both sides? There are a lot of wounded and dead. It’s all sad, very sad, just a disaster. They fired several thousand missiles, and the area there is small. And there is a feeling that, given the situation in the Middle East, the story with Ukraine will be forgotten.
