Daily Mail: the death of British Queen Elizabeth II occurred in a dream
Former British Queen Elizabeth II died in her sleep, the Daily Mail newspaper claims, citing a published note from the monarch’s personal secretary, Edward Young.
It reads: “Very peaceful. In a dream. Gone. Old age”. “She would not have realized what was happening,” the author of the message believes. “No pain.”
The existence of this document, which is now kept in the Royal Archives, was previously unknown.
Elizabeth II died on September 8, 2022; ten days of national mourning were declared in Britain on this occasion. On September 10, the Queen’s son, Charles III, was officially proclaimed the new monarch.
