The Coordination Committee of the Presidential Grants Fund summed up the results of the competition, applications for which were accepted in the fall of 2023. In total, 1,559 projects will receive federal funding totaling over 4.3 billion rubles, said First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko. Among the winners of the competition are 64 projects with a grant funding of 428 million rubles, which will be implemented in the DPR and LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
“This is our 17th competition of the Presidential Grants Fund. Now we have decided that 1 thousand 559 projects from 84 regions of our country are receiving support for a total amount of 4 billion 365 million rubles. This is only federal funding through a federal competition,” said Mr. Kiriyenko (quoted by Interfax).
As specified on website foundation, a total of 10,827 public initiatives from 88 regions of Russia were submitted to the competition. For the first time, 458 non-profit organizations will receive support from the fund, another 257 will receive it for the second time, and 196 will receive it for the third time.
The press service of the fund noted that 64 winning projects will be implemented in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The total amount of their grant funding will be 428 million rubles.
