In Russian futsal, chaos and discord continues to reign over which organization will host the competition next season. Holding futsal competitions should finally go under the auspices of the RFU, as was the case with the Super League in the 2022-2023 season, when the AMFR had nothing to do with the tournament.
On June 7, a seminar on licensing futsal clubs for the 2023-2024 season was held. It was attended by representatives of 50 teams planning to take part in Superleague and Major League competitions. There were no representatives of the PKMF “Torpedo” at the seminar, Nikolay Khodov informed that the delegation from Nizhny Novgorod was not invited to it.
Earlier, Nikolai Khodov spoke negatively about the changes that are now taking place in Russian futsal, and Norman, according to some information, did not support the protest of 19 Major League teams that refused to play under the auspices of the AMFR.
