The freezing of Russian state property in the Czech Republic as part of the sanctions will not affect the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation. This was announced on Wednesday, November 15, by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The head of the Foreign Ministry, Jan Lipavsky, confirmed that the Czech Republic has added the State Foreign Property of the Russian Federation to the national sanctions list. This company manages many real estate properties in the Czech Republic that are owned by Russia.

Inclusion in the Czech sanctions list means that any commercial activity of State Foreign Property, including leasing of real estate, is now illegal in the Czech Republic, Lipavsky emphasized.

Against the backdrop of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, the Czech Republic began to actively implement unfriendly actions against Moscow. At the same time, Czech President Petr Pavel admitted that does not see advantages on the Ukrainian side. This means that in the near future Moscow and Kyiv will have to sit down at the negotiating table again.

At the same time, since the beginning of the SVO in Ukraine, the Czech police have opened 384 criminal cases against citizens who supported the actions of the Russian authorities.
