For the first time, the All-Russian powerlifting competition “Northern Lights” will be held in the Murmansk region. Participants will have to compete for victory in the disciplines “triathlon”, “classic triathlon”, “bench press” and “classic bench press”.
Competitions will be held from 20 to 29 May. Murmansk will host about 200 athletes from all over the world. In total, 15 regional championships and championships in 10 sports will be held in the Arctic in May. They include judo, athletics, chess, paintball and rock climbing, the government of the Murmansk region said.
