Powerlifter from Serpukhov won the International competition

On November 12-21, the city of Tula hosted the International Powerlifting Competition “Open Tournament “Commonwealth of Nations”. Among the winners is an athlete from the urban district of Serpukhov.
Serpukhovich Artyom Gushchin took the 1st place in the “Bench press” discipline in the weight up to 93 kg in the “Youth” age category. A powerlifter works out in the gym of the Nadezhda Sports Palace.
In total, more than 500 athletes from 62 regions of Russia and 13 friendly countries took part in the competition.
On the territory of the Russian Federation, international competitions of this class were held for the first time.
