Power extreme competitions will be held in Orel

On City Day in the Oryol region, a unique event for fans of power extreme sports will take place – the Iron Eagle Open Cup. Competitions will be held on August 5 at Marshal Zhukov Square in front of the Lenin Central Stadium, the start is scheduled for 13:00.
The main purpose of this event is to promote power sports and a healthy lifestyle. All of them comply with international standards and are held according to the rules of the All-Russian Federation of Power Extreme. The general management of the organization and holding of competitions is carried out by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Oryol Region, and the organizer is the regional Power Extreme Federation.
The competition program includes several intriguing disciplines. The first of them is the Shoulder Relay. This is followed by the discipline “Deadlift of the car”, where the athletes will lift the car fixed on the platform in one minute, and they will need to do as many repetitions as possible.
The next discipline is the “Power Relay”, in which the participants will have to go a distance of 20 meters, carrying shells weighing 110 kg on their shoulders, and then round the tire 3 turns. No less exciting promises to be the discipline “Pulp-push (sumo log)”, where the participants will have to hold the bag in front of them.
The last and one of the most difficult tasks at the competition will be “Towing special equipment while sitting with your hands.” Participants must tow one piece of special equipment with a special rope for a distance of 15 meters.
Men who have reached the age of 18 are allowed to compete. The winners will be awarded with cups, medals and diplomas. In addition, all participants will receive diplomas confirming their participation and achievements in these competitions.
The Iron Eagle Open Cup will become a bright event in the City Day celebration program. It will continue the tradition of popularizing power sports and will promote the development of a healthy lifestyle among residents of the Oryol region.
