32,000 centenarians aged 95 and older live in the capital. Two thirds of them are women.

In 2021, out of 129 thousand births, 1,665 multiples were noted, of which 21 cases were three or more children.

56 percent of children were born to mothers aged 30-39 and another 37 percent of children were born to mothers aged 20-29. The majority of births – 79 percent – were to mothers who were in a registered marriage.

What should be taken care of? Most often in 2021, Muscovites died from diseases of the circulatory system – 37 percent. Cerebrovascular diseases (diseases of the brain) accounted for 18 percent. In third place were neoplasms – 15 percent.

Accidents, injuries, poisonings, murders and suicides killed 4 percent of the total number of deaths.

The most common marriage age in 2021 for both men and women is 35 years and older (38 percent of married men and 32 percent of married women). Two-thirds of those who married and married did it for the first time.

In 2021, there were 53 divorces for every 100 marriages.
