The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, speaking on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station, said that in Russia there is now no need to introduce restrictive measures against the coronavirus due to the lack of grounds.
Answering the question about whether the course of the coronavirus can currently be called mild, Popova indicated that COVID-19 is not mild now. At the same time, she emphasized that the coronavirus does not require the introduction of forced and mandatory restriction measures.
According to the head of Rospotrebnadzor, there are currently effective means for treating the disease and certain means of prevention. In addition, she noted that the virus itself has changed, and today there are almost no covid pneumonias. Popova added that today is “a different story, a different trend,” so we can say that strict restrictions will not be introduced, since there is no reason for this.
